Capturing Moments with the Mavrakis Family: 2 Years and Counting...

On Oct.16, 2011, Mike and I were married in a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Raven Golf Club at Verrado in Buckeye, AZ. We had all of our loved ones with us which made the day extra special. I thought I would be nervous that day, but I was just the opposite. I felt relaxed, completely happy and at ease, it was as if I was floating on air. ;-) However, we never imagined we'd be spending our 2nd anniversary at Hanscom Air Force Base near Boston, MA, which is where we live now. A couple months after we were married, Mike who is the United States Air Force, received orders for us to PCS (Permanent Change of Station or which I like Panic-Cry-Scream, lol) that summer. We had bought a home and were ready to plant our roots in Arizona, but like I said life has its bumps. So here we are in the heart of "The Cradle of Liberty" and I wouldn't want to plant these temporary ;-) roots with anyone else. <3

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary this weekend by doing some sightseeing and having dinner in one of my favorite places in downtown Boston, the North End, aka Little Italy.
